Ramadan Dinner at Nathan Phillips Square

Northern Lights Relief  Foundation organized  Ramadan Festival  “Sharing Ramadan With Toronto” at Downtown Nathan Phillips Square

On May 23 and 24 between 6 PM to 10 PM people joined us to share a Ramadan meal with the needy.  Sharing our meal is also an opportunity for us to come together with people from different belief, culture, and identity.

This event was free to participate and open to the public. In two days more than thousands people came to our Ramadan Festival and had a free iftar meal at the square. Attendance also had the opportunity to see the Whirling Dervishes performance, Live Water Marbling Art Show, Live Sufi Instrumental Music, Art and Photo Exhibition. The mayor of Toronto John Tory also joined the program and made the opening speech. Mayor John Tory congratulates NLRF successful Ramadan Festival. Mayor also indicated that NLRF has great effort to our city those less fortunate and newcomers.
